Trispen signs Co-operation agreement with Xiphos Technologies Inc |

HANNOVER, GERMANY - 15 March 2005: Xiphos Technologies Inc of Montreal Canada and South African based Trispen Technologies (Pty) Ltd, today signed a Co-operation agreement to integrate their individual product technologies. This co-operation will result in a solution that provides advanced satellite optimisation and secure virtual private networking. The agreement serves as tangible evidence of increasing cooperation between South African and Canadian Technology companies.
Says Jaco Botha of Trispen Technologies, "Our companies have very complementary technologies and the combined solution is ideal for our target market, to provide secure IP communications solutions to emerging markets."
Says Eric Edwards, President of Xiphos, "Bringing VPN security together with satellite and wireless acceleration is a natural fit. Trispen's expertise on the VPN side will give us the integrated product that our customers want."
The combined products will be available from both companies by the third quarter of 2005.
