We are providing a growing set of innovative APIs. Some of these APIs are standard interfaces that can be licensed for use by customer applications - for example:

Digital Signature Interface: Applications running on a platform using IP-Granite can use the IP-Granite certificate management and certificates to digitally sign and/or verify messages. This allows the application developer to enhance the security offered as part of the application by making full use of the infrastructure in place at the network level.

Identification Interface: Applications can identify the communicating party by making a call to the IP-Granite API. This allows a server application to identify IP-Granite clients in order to do additional authorisation checking (for instance based on certificate fields) in the application.

Smart Card APIs: In order to to provide maximum return on investment in environments where smart cards have already been rolled out to users, we are adding support for smart cards (or other strong authentication methods - tokens etc.). We are also integrating standards-based smart cards into future product developments.

In the case where more customers have specialised requirements, we also have the development team on-hand to offer a fully customised API development, in this case our project manager will interface directly with the customer application architect to design and implement a tailored solution around the existing product core. Once the API is developed and the application integration is complete, we can also assist in building installation packages that include IP-Granite. The scope of such a project is defined and managed throughout by a single project management interface at Trispen.
